Cesarean mothers are more likely to be separated from our babies after birth.
Sometimes, separation is for a few hours…often, for many hours…and periodically, for days or weeks.
Whatever the separation time, Cesarean moms often miss the Golden Hour. We are more likely to struggle with bonding, breastfeeding, and “settling in” to motherhood.
We are also more likely to carry grief, sadness, and “what ifs” about those lost moments.
While separation is sometimes medically necessary, it’s usually the result of hospital protocol that ignores evidence-based guidelines to keep moms and babies together, skin-to-skin, directly after birth and for at least 2 uninterrupted hours following birth.
If you were separated from your baby after birth - for any period of time and for any reason - this workshop was designed for you.

This is Part 1 in a series of live online workshops focused on emotional repair after c-section. I invite you to email me and share what you’d like to see next.
Some Technical details
Structure
Shortly after registration, you’ll receive the Zoom credentials via email. You’ll also receive an email reminder 24 hours prior to each session.
For this single workshop, we will meet twice. Each session is 90-minutes and the sessions are two weeks apart. The cost includes both Part 1 and Part 2.
The workshop is divided into two parts because it is interactive, there will be time for sharing, and because I want to move through the material at a careful pace. After all, talking about pregnancy after we’ve had a difficult birth can be emotional and sensitive.
Trauma-Informed
Throughout our time together, I’ll use somatic and trauma-informed processes to help participants stay grounded and minimize nervous system activation. Registrants will also be invited to my free online community, where they can get support outside of our calls and connect with other mothers who can relate.
Participation
While this workshop is designed to be interactive, participation is always optional. Even if you attend live, you can opt out of participation, or choose to participate only if and when it feels good. Your consent is an important part of the experience.
You’ll benefit most if you can attend both parts of the workshop live. However, if you can’t attend live, this workshop will still benefit you. All registrants will receive a recording within 72 hours of each session.
All registrations are non-refundable.
It’s normal to feel nervous about signing up for something like this. If you want to discuss the details or talk through your hesitations, I welcome any questions. You can contact me here.
